shadeshaman, human being or pillow to cry on?

Last night, I went out with a "nice" guy. Okay, we're in bed and he starts sobbing on my shoulder. (so not hot) I was thinking today that of the--please don't think I'm a giant slut--1/2 dozen men I have found myself in bed with (sex or no) in the past year, all but one ended up sobbing on my shoulder.
WTF?
Could you guys try to impress me or something? What happened to bringing flowers or showing me your record collection? Argh. And let me add that I don't sob on their shoulders, although what these dorks are sobbing over sounds like a regular day in my life.
Waa! You're lonely! Waa! You're worried about money! Waa! You're overwhelmed! Waa! You're unappreciated! Jesus H. Christ.
I'll switch lives with any of these dudes for a week--give 'em something to cry about. Solo single mom housecleaner vs. childless dude....hmmmm...who should be crying about loneliness, poverty, overwhelm and invisibility??!!! That's right.

Guys do it all the time! Girl gets emotional, feels vulnerable, and is willing to have sex again. Just enjoy the squishy dudes! Hell, it's better than finding some asshole player type who only wants you for a booty call now and again. Right?

You must be really cool if you inspire these men to allow themselves to be so open/vulnerable with you. That will really come in handy when you find one that has his shit a little bit together.

P.s. half a dozen does not a slut make! I went through a year when it was almost one for every weekend (i was making up for lost time- though)

Come to think of it, I'm not sure what a slut is, really. If 6 in a year is a slut, then I'm a Sooper Slut.
