First thing is that the pregnancy test was right, i am sooo not pregnant. I must have been pukey because the cold that i have now was coming on. Now i have my rag early and unmistakeably. Which was making me a little sad.
But it is hard to be sad when you are going to menorca.
So this is how it happened. DH and i went to eat at our local dive diner for lunch and while we were waiting to be seated he was looking at the paper. We saw an ad for a trips to Menorca 6 days blah blah blah 260€ per person. And DH said wow-if it's that cheap with a hotel imagine how cheap we could do it camping. And I said lets do it.
And then we talked about although we have the money now, going will cause us money stress in october. And i said that the problem that we have now is that i have been working like a dog all damned summer and i am going crazy and i need a break before the school year starts again and that if i stay here i won't do any kind of break. That we need to fix that problem now and we can solve the money problem later.
It wasn't too hard to convince him because he is pretty easy come easy go about money anyway.
2 hours later we had booked a cheap flight, and we just now finished packing our backpacks. We're leaving for barcelona tomorrow and for menorca wednesday morning and we'll be gone for a whole week.
I´ll just do what my homeopath recommended and perpetually affirm- ¨I mandalynn am will to accept the abundance that the world is continually offering me¨. It seemed to help me get enough private classes together to make it through the summer and surely it will help us through october.
