Okay, let me preface this by saying that I am not a political person at all. I'm not registered to vote, I will be registering since I just moved to a different town, but I have not been before. I do not know much about either cadidate. Not something I'm proud of, but there it is. BUT, I can say that I do hate all the smear campaigning that happens in politics, especially with Obama in this race. There is a girl I know who is one of my myspace friends. Went to high school together, have mutual friends, not close friends. Today she has sent out two different bulletins about Barack Obama. I guess she's been doing some research online, or someone sent her these, whatever. But here is the second one she sent out. I just wanted to see what my hip mamas thought about this.

6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed ' in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama.

Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President.
