hi ladies,
i wish you could have been there, i hope that you were!
1. cube loves the northwest! you could tell that he was really enjoying it out here. a man named dub fell in love with paula - she was the star of the night, i wanted this to be about her! pot smoke in the air, beers and excellent music. what more could a woman ask for!?
2. cube was fine - gotta give it up, he's a masculine dood, with dashing good looks! everyone went nuts! we held our hands up, i danced and channeled in place. the crowd was wild, the showbox was packed. i liked the venue alot! they kept the integrity of the building, you could tell it was old school, maybe 1950's? maybe earlier? it was all red lights, superior sound and stage. two opening acts, both from washington, both ruled the stage.
3. white men gone awry! one dood was out of control! he was clearly high as a kite, and a giant too boot! he was grabbing paula, spilled a drink in her hair and had a huge boner, she was pissed and not having it. he refused to stop, so i manned up and got in between them. he literally pretended his hand was an extension of his cock?!!! what is up with this!
4. masculine woman in full effect - i feel proud in these moments. i pointed to my vagina and said: "look, i have one too". i shoved him as hard as i could when he mashed into me. a man who was with his wife tried to tell him to stop, i kept asking the horny guys friend to put him in check. he tried several times, but with no luck. finally his friend said: "please excuse my friend" and walked away. the horny dood eventually left.
5. when i'm at a show, the last thing i want to do is to fake masterbate on someone! i just don't want to do that, EVER. i was able to flip my switch in the crowd and be as masculine as i needed to, the safety issue was on at times. when i felt the flow, i could just receieve and be the fem, i truly am. i'm practing this daily.
6. the music was on, the dancing was hot, the energy was perfect. a couple of fight's broke out. at one point, paula and i got seperated, she was elbowed and a bunch of men (i couldn't tell you how many!) pushed me out of a circle of men who were fighting, and it was intense! we found eachother and continued out!
7. let me back track a bit - prior to the show, we met a cool guy named miles. he dared to saunter up to us! GUTS! i like that. he was cute, cool hair, tongue piercing that worked for him, and nice tat's. he was funny and charming. i told him he was a knight and he blushed! he was tripping out on my goddess tattoo, paula rapped a song and we had a fun time. it was a marlboro light kind of moment!
8. paula and i peeped an old lady staring out her window across from the showbox, she was at least 5 floors up, and looked scared. paula said: "she's thinking: "there's a riot going on!". i know she was right.
9. cube's new album sounded great! and he jammed all the classics! this man is a hit maker! my fav's: natural born killer and we be clubbin'.
10. go to a gangsta rap show, especially if it's been awhile. this was only my second one - my first was in the early 90's when i saw body count, and they weren't even headlining! i guess that ice-t as the lead singer still counts!
11. we head back to work and hang out with the crew, we had fun! then we bust out to a late night IHOP run! paula ordered extra bacon, and i scored 2 free pancakes. and oh yes, christy ate all 4!!!
have fun this weekend - you deserve it!
love - your friend - christy is a dragon in seattle
to read your top 10, DC. Sounds like a wild night!
