hello people of the world - this is me, and that is you! here i go: 1. gutting out work stuff - i'm the muscle around here. i'm junking a ton of junk. it will take me several hours to prep the "phase 1" area that will be renovated in the next two weeks. wish me luck! 2. a strapless bra is in order. i don't like the strappy one's, do you own a strapless bra? can you pull it off wearing it everyday? i'm about to find out. 3. i called my good buddy lisa in ocean side last night. we talked for about 3 hours. she's getting a new right hip on aug. 12th, she's sounding good. i'm sending her love and light. this will be her last surgery. 4. she called me a "space odessey" last night, i thought it was neat! 5. mars is with her dad, he's taking her up to his uncle's cabin this weekend. they'll have fun. 6. skye made it home last night at 1 am! i hugged and kissed him. he looks physcially stronger, leaner, he's working out a lot. complained about the job corps food - he's smoking cigarettes! butthead! i lectured him about this in the kitchen. a scorpio job well done at 1:30 am! motherhood has no time contraints! 7. i'm about to hide away at work and channel! if they only knew what i really did here! 8. my buddy paula and i are excited about the tattoo expo coming up, i want some inspiration! 9. murdered the yoga this week, i did a late nighter - midnight run! it felt great. 10. i'm excited to go see a movie tonight and hit the gym. i wanted to take skye to see batman, not sure that he'll be home though. at any rate, this weekend, is mine! 11. i'm sending myself love right now. have fun, no matter what~! love, just another dragon you know! dragon chic's blog | login or register to post comments | email this page | printer friendly version
i was sweatin it out in a tent when you wrote this, but i am glad you had such a great weekend!! batman was KICKASS. i saw it on tuesday and i was seriously blown away! there were so many messages about morality, ethics, right/wrong, good/evil in it, i feel like i need to see it again to digest it all. plus, i've never been all gaga over christian bale before but he was HOOOOT in this movie. enjoy it if you guys get to go!! sounds like you're doing swell as usual...btw, glad to hear in your last post that mars/bdc is totally recovered from the infection and that you guys are feeling better after your nutty weekend.... yay for a healthy family! glad that you saw it! i gotta catch this one, i'm the last woman standing! skye wanted to see, it, i knew he would. this weekend, was a catch up between him and i, time just flew by. he'll start to come up regularly, every other weekend. i'll see him in two weeks. i've talked to people about the message of the film, and it sounds really cool. i like to hear about the mainstream films that impact people in such a positive way. in my opionion these might be the most important films of all time. the mars is feeling great, thank you for thinking of her! she's almost done with the antibiotics that they sent her home with. i feel grateful to be home with her. your friend, DC the asian le femme nikita with an open heart chakra! *whew!* but I am 36 DD and I think that plays a role. I started young, too young but I quit at 23 and haven't started up again yet. Hope he decides to drop it soon! note from buggies~ cddszssssssssssssssssssssss hi cutie!! on the boob tip: the tit's are offical: i got them under wraps! i finally hooked them up proper! why did it take me 35 years to do this!? i'm eating chicken and noodles right now! i got measured. the goddess who helped me rocked it out! she didn't even laugh at me when i asked her if getting measured was considered, "terribly old school". i tried on the one that she gave me and another 3-4. funny enough i had chosen the right size the first round! the problem with my old bras were the cut and overall crappy cheap fit. the straps dug into my skin and for some odd reason even after adjusting them, they kept falling down. i bought them, off the macy's ghetto rack! defective, big time! this new bra was cheap, only $30 and i'm wearing it right now. i 1/2 joked with my buddy paula that i was going to take the ol' snaggle tooth bra and leave it on someone's chair at work! i opted to throw it in the trash. the lady who helped me was also large breasted and said that they didn't even make strapless bras in her size! how could that be? not fair. i tried on a nice strapless that had the clear straps, i almost got it! here's to real women with real tit's! life lesson # 20 gagillion - nothing is one size fits all. love - a 38 C!!! the asian le femme nikita with an open heart chakra! *whew!* This makes me think about the time a couple of years ago that I got actually fitted for bras, instead of just guessing! WHY do we do that!? Much better to be be in bras that actually FIT? I have no idea why we put up with straps that dig in, straps that fall, cups that cut off circulation...but I think many women do! As far as I am concerned the women who help us when we finally get fitted deserve freakin' gold medals!!!! & you are so right-- here's to real women with real tits! And that Skye listens to his smart, kick-ass mama! and it turns out i had been wearing the wrong size all along. i had thought i was a B cup, but unfortunately i was only an A anyway, that's my little weekend rant about my boobs! after all my strap issues, i've realized what a big deal this is. i've worn my strapless all weekend, not even wanting to take it off - i'm finally where i should be! took me long enough, huh? dang it! i was an A for years, and i hear what you're saying. once you shift into a B, you got some meat and potato's to work with! i gotta admit that, i enjoyed being the A because i could opt to not wear a bra at all when i wanted. i was talking to my homegirls this weekend, and my buddy ashley admitted that she was self conscious about her nipples because of what some jerky high school boy said to her once! what a punk! i talked about how large mine are, that at least got a laugh out of her! mine are big, i like them, they're like the size of saucers! my industry days were funny because i always got the ridiculous comments like: "wow, you have really big nipples". thanks, trick!?! boobs are cool - the world couldn't exsist without them. i like to talk about the actress dina meyers, and how great her tit's are. she's a real lady, with real life tit's. your partner in boobs, DC!the asian le femme nikita with an open heart chakra! *whew!* i'm winding down yet another saturday work day. i'm ready to make the switch and not work saturday's anymore. i've talked it up for months now, i try to appreciate what i have in terms of flexibilty. i know this will change when i get a new job. i did this for the kids, especially mars. it's not so bad, but i would rather be at the gym. the upnote is that my #1 homegirl paula is here today, i got to take her to the diviest dive off of pike st.! it's the "turf", and on a good day, you'll see someone dragging their sleeping bag inside the restaurant with them! why do i love this place so much? real people, real food - good prices. i used to take skye there when he was little, it was always a hole in the wall, but it's a little more hardcore/seedier today. my personal fav are the burgers and fries and the entire breakfast menu! i recently macked out on a huge man-size breakfast there. this is my life, i gotta live to the fullest! the bra issues - the counter goddess knew it all! i agree, they do deserve a good medal! those women are smart, they don't settle. they know they don't have too! i need to work on this. quick oddish question - what is up with the men that hang out in the lingerie section? i saw one or two doods, i personally didn't like it. it's really not a section for them, they should but out! glad that you got the right fit! i had no idea what i needed to do to get fitted. this was the second time this week where i was completely lost in a situation publicly, and had no idea on what my role was or what the actual ettiquette was. i know that sounds strange, but at the salon, when i was handed a robe, i had no idea what to do with it! my buddy paula joked that her friend has seen men get handed the robe and literally strip down to nothing and walk out trying to hand all of their clothes to the coat check person! scandalous! you live and learn i guess. that skye - hopefully i'll see him for a few hours tonight if he's not busy. this is such a funny transition for both of us, he's growing up and we're both splitting apart in two different directions. i like it, but i need to get used to it. your friend, DC the asian le femme nikita with an open heart chakra! *whew!* So lay off the death sticks and maybe take up knitting instead. *vibes* Hope Mars and her daddy have fun. Nope, I can't wear a strapless bra - well. I can, but I have to get those ones that are practically a corset to get enough support and they never make them in the right proportions. They are too big in the waist and too small in the bust so I don't bother! I can get away with wearing something strapless if it's cut right and I can wear it a half size too small. . it made me sad that my titties were even more itty-bitty than i had thought they were, but then i got pregnant a year later and they got huuuuge. now they're small again, but still bigger (although saggier) than they were before i had monkeygirl....now i really AM a B cup!! i've grown to love my boobs, though; after looking at like a million men's magazines and comparing all the sizes and shapes i was finally like "hey, wow, everyone looks different and that's okay! that's cool!" funny how it took me so long!
