Wow. It doesn't seem like it's that close, but 08/08/08 is next Friday. DH is taking leave starting on Thursday of this week and it lasts for a little over a month...we'll have family here for the first week...they're coming on Thursday as well to help more with the older ones than the baby, so I don't have to worry about trying to find ppl to watch the kiddos while I'm recovering from the c-section.

As for the baby, I had my last u/s today before the amniocentesis next week. Baby now weighs upwards of 9.5 lbs (give or take a pound, since u/s can be off by that much), and it's a good thing I'm having a c-section now, I suppose. He will be my biggest one yet He's healthy though, biophysical profile is perfect...now I get to sit and "enjoy" my last week of being pregnant. Ever. Woohoo!

Thanks for the reading suggestions, BTW. They're really helping me out right now...I suppose I am an escapist reader myself.
