Need tips on non-ipod MP3 player

Submitted by bleu7102 on Sat, 07/26/2008 - 9:32pm.

I have a Sansa MP3 player that I haven't really used very much. I'm interested in putting some podcasts on it, but I haven't the slightest clue on how to do this. I know that you can get the podcasts on itunes, but since my MP3 player is not an ipod, I'm assuming it won't work with itunes. Is that correct? So how can I get the podcasts downloaded to my computer to sync them to my player? Any tips?

Look for a "podcatcher" program (ie. Juice of Mediafly) or you can use Mozilla songbird or Winamp.

and found it a complete pain in the butt. seems there should be easier ways to load/unload but I had to go to a 'my music' file on my computer--not a music player (like itunes or windows music)--but the harddrive and from there drag stuff over to load--but I have been able to load podcasts that way. I'd actually love it if you share if you find an easier way.
