Well we bought a (sort of) bunk bed for M from good ol Ikea and she decided to use the bottom area as a *Fairy Den*. She's too young for sleepovers. I thought I would do some little vintage thrift store fabric curtains. Her bed part is above it.
pillows and I'm sure shortly with stuffed animals there will be no room for her. The irony is she still cosleeps so the top bunk is also becoming a she must love it in there! This can totally be her place to write in her journal (or whatever) as she gets older! Looks kinda like a faerie opium den! I wanted to get that bed for my son but I bought a twin sized bed instead. I wish I had gotten that one though. I didn't know that we would be adding a second baby to family so soon! Happiness is being a Doula! |
I image something like that for DD when she is a bit older. That's great to have a den where you can hide and be in private.
