Remember how i said i had decided that if i have to have my stupid period for a while i should at least soak it up with style? Here they are, Super Sexy new pads:
And this is the ancient sewing machine that i sewed them on. It's even older than DH (he was made in 68 and the machine in 63). The pedal gets really hot and i can feel the heat through my flip flops and it makes a strange metallic smell, but hell i got it free from my mother in law.
I will have to look for the address sometime soon. Remind me if i forget. I sew on a 1940's Singer, have a Singer treadle for another of the same model, and the list goes on and on. You can (and really should) rewire your foot pedal/replace your motor.
