It's been a while, house update

So, I haven't been able to participate much this week on HM, I've been training my replacement at work. Today is my last day, and I'm super happy about that. But my anxiety about the house sale is overshadowing that excitement. Honestly, I'm freaking out quite a bit about it!!!! So, here's the scoop, so far.

So, we accepted an offer on our house on 6/21. The buyers are buying it for their aunt, who is moving here from New Jersey. Well, the aunt was in town and of course wanted to see the house her nephew had picked out for her. So, on 6/24, they all came for the aunt to check it out. I got home from work, their realtor was waiting at our front door, and the buyers and aunt were sitting out in their vehicle. So I go to my front door and ask the realtor, "oh, is my husband not answering the door?". She said that he was there, she was just waiting for the buyers to come up. Um, okay. So I go inside, and DH is like "they've been sitting in their vehicle for like 10 minutes already". So, they sit out there for another 5-10 minutes, then finally they decide to get out. WFT? Their realtor is just standing at our front door waiting on them for like 15-20 minutes. She has no clue what they are doing, just waiting on them. So, they come in and walk around, go outside, whatever. They are nice, we just say hello and chill on the couch while they do their thing. They leave.
The next day is the inspection, which according to both our and thier realtor, goes very well. Nothing major by any means, all fairly quick and easy fixes. So then we just need to get the repair list from the buyers and get it all fixed, etc. Well, their realtor goes on vacation out of the country, I think on like 6/30 or so. She has another realtor in her office filling in for her. Well, she has been unable to get the repair list or the buyers lender info, for two weeks now. The buyers are from another country, and apparently they only like to deal with the other realtor. So there is a communication problem as well as them not wanting to work this other realtor anyways. WTF? Their preferred realtor comes back to town tomorrow, so our realtor will be getting with her on Sunday.
So we have a repair man who has given us a quote (very reasonable, too) for all the repairs, but he needs to know by Monday so he can get them done in time for the closing, which is scheduled for the 24th.
I'm freaking out, thinking that they are changing thier minds, that the aunt doesn't like the house, that they are going to pull out of the deal. Is that why they were just sitting in their vehicle that day, debating on it? I'm really anxious about all of this. We should know more by Monday, but I'm so worried it's going to be bad news. And this is my last day at work, so if this deal falls through, I'm out of a job with bills and a mortgage to pay. DH's last day is next Friday. I turned in my notice earlier so I could get everying packed up and in order, etc. Now I'm freaking that I've screwed myself in that department.
Okay, this is wayyyy too long and boring, I just needed to type it all out so I could sort through it myself. Sorry for the blah rant. It will all be good, no matter what happens, we'll get through it....

who knows why they sat for so long... for all you know, maybe they had just finished smoking a huge bowl and were too freaked out to get out of the car! that's probably not the case, but all i'm saying is that it could've been ANYTHING. don't count your dead chickens before they die, bleu! i'm still vibing you, hoping that this will all work out, and soon...when it's the right time, it'll happen.

Jawdropping! no reason for this smiley, i've just never used it before and thought it might make you giggle....

It's good to think in print.
As far as knowing what those house buyers are up to and thinking- How could you possibly get into the heads of the kind of people who would sit in a car staring at a realtor for 20 minutes????? It is hard enough to figure out what a NORMAL person is thinking! Eye-winkEye-wink
So let it slide- mama. Let their ¨preferred realtor¨ (you can't hear me scoffing) sort them out.
Vibes that it all comes out fine.
