My local thrift store is having a major clearance sale- everything must go! Today I got 5 blouses (3 of which are from medium-big names- do you guys have adolfo dominguez there too?- not that that matters- but man they are SMART) a skirt, a hippy dress, A floppy straw hat, and one of the plasticified mattress covers(that looks like it is going to be good for making cloth pads because it is really flexible and doesn't make crinkly noises) All for 41,50 which when my ¨frequent buyer points¨ discount was taken out was only 31,50!

Yesterday we got 2 beautiful Italian serving trays (for the gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, sugar-free carob cupcakes I'm making for ds's birthday this weekend!), one for $4 and the other for $7. I also got two cloth tablecloths for 3 bucks each (for the picnic tables at the park), as well as a stack of cloth napkins to bring so that we don't have to use paper towels. We also got a couple of fun bowls that look like oranges, for the kitchen, and a chicken butter dish that ds fell in love with. It was .50, and oh, so adorable! haha

I just scored a crisp white man's button down shirt and several chocolate brown spaghetti strap tanks at my local thrift. It's the closest I come to a typical feminine shopping spree ever...yay thrift!

I'm pretty tall and round right now with baby, which makes thrifting impossible for myself...still love doing it for the kiddos and DH though.

We have four children/maternity consignment stores here that I know of. They are great for kids clothes and especially for maternity clothing. The one that's a couple of blocks from my house sells used maternity clothing for super cheap and they also have local hand-made maternity sundresses and nursing shirts that go for 40-70 bucks.
The place has used strollers that are in excellent shape, boppy pillows, gently used diapers and covers, basinets, cribs, toys, etc... They even had a wetsuit for ds for 10 bucks the other day!
Any thrift store that does consignment should have maternity clothing too.
