Here we are making whole wheat banana pancakes:



I got them eating whole grain with no sugar and they loved it! They think american food is great! I'm the geek in pink. I usually come off looking like a complete spaz in photos- but really i'm not, or maybe i am.
And here i am explaining the actual rules of american baseball- what they play here is pretty different. I tricked my 12 year old student into saying ¨I am an american girl¨ when he was acting as my simultaneous translator (i like to keep my students thinking i only speak english so they make a better effort to understand me). Then i pointed at him and said ¨he thinks he's an american girl!¨ which cracked everybody up. I have a great time at camp!

My group of 11-12 year olds is the bomb! I'm glad i am thinking of cool stuff to do with them that they enjoy. I love my job!
Which brings me back to a question: anybody got craft ideas for 11-12 year old kids?
