I know Haldol is supposed to work fast, since it is an antipsychotic. It's not one of those meds that has to build up in your system like an antidepressant would...but all I can say is WOW. My anxiety level has dropped dramatically over these last couple of days. The Lamictal, however, is one of those meds that has to build a level to be theraputic, so I am left wondering if my mood shift is becuase of the Haldol alone or if it's a relief to finally to be on a course of action.

I wonder if my brain has tricked itself into thinking that it's ok. All I know is that I like to be able to fall asleep at night. I like not yelling and not being irritable all the time. Maybe that's all I needed, you know?

I'm feeling better than before, and I think that it's a step in the right direction.
