We've accepted an offer on our house!!!!!! Our closing date is set for July 24th! It wasn't either of the two low-ball offers, this one was an actual decent one. We didn't bother with countering, wasn't worth our time. We just accepted and signed the papers yesterday. So now we're super duper anxious about the inspection, aaarrrgghhh!! Please don't let there be anything horrible wrong with the house, anything we don't already know!!! I don't even want to think about all the bad things that could go wrong, just happy thoughts.... The good thing is that the inspection should be in the next couple of days so we don't have wait too long to find out. The other realtor wanted to wait until July 14th or so to do it because she's going out of the country on vacation and wanted to wait until she got back. We said no go, we can't hang around in limbo like that, not knowing whether it's a for sure deal or not until the last minute. So we're getting it done sooner.
