i have the same problem. wish i had some wisdom to share about this. how do we figure it out before getting involved? i dunno...even if you are friends first, people are different when romantically involved
try to enjoy being single, if you can. take pride in the confidence that being on your own for a while can bring you. i've dated a string of lameasses for the last ten years, and i've finally accepted that i'm better off alone for the time being! i hope your heartbreak heals quickly.... Uggh, I've been single for over a year now, I think I'm ready for some lovin'.
Oh hell no. See, if I were dating men, then I could answer my own question *smirk* I hate to say it, but I've been dating womyn and FTMs for the past 7 years.
i think i may be over men again...at least as far as being in a relationship. but women sometimes behave the same way...in my experience anyway. geez i guess i'm bitter right now...
So sorry. Wishing a nice, stable, honest, etc etc person for you soon! Oh my. You deserve only the best life has to offer. Its not you, you are amazing and beautiful, mama. I have some trite but true thoughts on this... Find a way to be happy in what moment you are in and be patient with yourself, someone will see the greatness and you and respond to THAT - not their own selfish whims. Listen to that inner voice she don't lie and don't shrug off your internal red flag alerter... its right every time - this has been my experience with other folks in terms of looking for romance. There are a lot of shitty adults out there but you are proof that there are still people worth being with. Some lucky person will come along and know it too! HUGS mama. You rock this mamas world.
