Times are hard ladies. Today, I walked to the store(big deal for me) instead of driving. I baked bread and we are skipping meat in our food tonite. Holly just posted something along the same lines and I posted a reply. What am I doing? trying to keep up with all of that money saving stuff...lol!
here's what i do: it is so nice having good weather and being able to hang out at the park everyday. that's pretty much our source of fun. riding bike, working in the yard and working in my gardens instead of spending money. I am having problems sitting down to sew, which is DUMB since I can make money doing that! Times ARE hard WMS, don't feel alone in that!

My organic apples went up a whole dollar a bag this week. Heck,everything went up a dollar!
I planted a huge garden & we have stocked up on lots of beans. I just bought six chickens from the hutterites & I am hoping they last a while. We have been skipping meat in alot of our meals & I I have been cutting back on all our dairy. In a way though, this type of eating has really helped me stay on track dietary wise. My friends & I have been limiting ourselves to no more than five driving miles a day (if at all) & I have had a tank of gas last more than a month that way. I dunno how we are all gonna make it.
