1 C water I can't afford all that fancy schmancy stuff, in time or money, so I just use what I have. It works well, and the only time G has rashes is when I'm in a pinch and have to use disposables for a few changes. Good luck! A friend of mine makes a solution of water, a bit of baby soap and a few drops of tea tree oil. Thanks mamas for posting all your solutions (ha ha)! I hope I can find this thread again in 4-5 months. I use a mix of water, organic aloe vera gel, organic baby oil (W*leda calendula or Burt's B**s -type), and a few drops of baby castille soap in a spray bottle. It sounds like a lot, but it lasts forever and Jonah has never had a rash.
Just reading about this the other day on a cloth diapering blog-- bumGenius makes a bottom cleanser that is all-natural. And one by Kissaluv Diaper Lotion Potion that is also a spray. Of course, I haven't actually used either, not having a real live baby bottom to use it on yet...but I'm considering using one or the other vs. having warm water to use @ every diaper change. a few drops of baby castille soap in the water or some baby soap (gentle liquid stuff).
