Hey here is my good:
1. We are just weeks away from owning our own house
2. We are healthy
3. We have good friends
4. I have 2 more canning classes coming up
5. I have so much jam it is coming outta my ears
Here is the bad:
1. We are flat broke and don't know if we have enough for our closing
2. I have not sold a lot of jam lately
3. The stress of it all is seriously affecting my relationship
4. Instead of being supportive I have been lashing out at DH.
5. DS is acting badly as a result of all of this.
Okay mamas give me your good and bad.

Here's the good and bad
Not so Good:
1. Cockroaches. House was vacant from Nov to Apr, and they are HUGE
2. Economic Stimulus checks, already deposited and gone in a flash.
3. DS will be two in July, already acting terrible
4. Groceries are on credit cards right now
5. Haven't sewn in over two months, and am dreading the craft show summer circuit. I know I am good at what I do, so why doesn't anyone want to buy my stuff?
Good:
1. Pest control. No more sugar ants, and the roaches have been dwindling. Fantastic company that offers a quarterly membership where you pay $85 once and they'll come out as many times as you need them to and treat the house for no extra charge.
2. Economic Stimulus checks. We now have medicine cabinets in the bathrooms, DS now has some shoes that will fit the little Sasquatch, and most of the bills got paid.
3. DS will be two in July and as terrible as he is getting, he is also getting terribly sweet. He gives his teddy bear hugs, and I think he said I love you last night (sounded like "why da-boo" but I'll take what I can get)
4. We have credit cards to put groceries on if we have to
5. My box of fabric came in the mail. I ordered half-yards so that I can get a larger variety. I love quilting fabric... it makes my heart sing, and it inspires me to create beautiful things.
Etsy is a fickle sort of thing Evie. The only things I ever sold were to my MIL and she just ordered them online so that it looked like I actually sold stuff. I guess I have a problem standing out amongst the sea of other sellers who make the same things I do (really, how many tissue pockets can one person buy anyway). I wish that there was a formula to follow: X+Y= Success, but it seems to be a crap-shoot. I blame the craft show blues on the recession. I get it, I would rather spend my hard earned money on bread and milk too, no matter how cute that little purse is.
From what I hear, your Jam is delish. If I liked jam, I'd get some. Instead, I'll send you super seller vibes
The kind of vibes that net you enough profit to be prosperous doing what makes you happy.
