Gosh, life's been crazy the past few days...and it ain't gonna get any better any time soon. But I've got a lot to be thankful for, even if I don't ever get enough sleep, my baby yells at me, and my yoni's feeling grody.

Everyone else is doing it, so here are my grats:

1. It seems like everyone I meet lately has either had a hard pregnancy, a low birthweight baby, or kids with problems. Both of mine are hale and healthy. Both were over 8lbs at birth, both took to the nip immediately, both are happy/crazy kids.
2. I finished my thesis and submitted it to the dean of our grad school for approval. She sent me back revisions, and everything was minor. Yay!
3. I keep having run-ins with who I call "Dr. Wyatt". Click here and see why. I can see why all the chicks dig Ilan, but he really is the king of creepy back office interludes. But that he flirted with me is kind of nice. Ok, realy nice - this chick needs all the help she can get. I half hope and half dread getting the soon-to-be-vacant office next to his next semester.
4. I saw so many hot blue-collar workers today. So what if it's sexist? HOTT.
5. The hubby's playing with both kiddies right now so I can get some work done. I'm taking a break.
6. Speaking of work, I got 18 stories for the next month. I'm not entirely sure I can keep up - what if I botch it and don't make deadline? If all works out, my paycheck should not only be fat, but PHAT.
7. Cheap hotel in GA to visit M's father and uncle. Yay for not having to stay with family! Yay to friends and family rate!!!
8. The kid's teething, but he's been doing ok at night for the past two days. But yeah, teething is a motherfucker.
9. I get my own office next year and can spend the next few months fantasizing about how I'm going to decorate it...quadruple yay!
10. I have cold beer. 'nuff said.
