 So, I am officially a out-of-the-house working mama. My first day went well, all my students are adorable and I did not realize how much I missed teaching. Ava was such a good girl and had no problems running into her new classroom. Lily, on the other hand, was a bit freaked out not being apart from me, but from Ava. As difficult as it was to hear her crying, because I am in the same school, I knew she was being well cared for and stopped soon after. I am exhausted, but in a good way. Its so awesome that you get to work where your girls are. Love the faces in the pic! Congrats on a great first day. yay!!! that is so exciting! i'm scared to go back to work (someday) and may hide away from it by going back to school for my bachelor's degree - which i do feel i need. i also think when i do go back to work i'll need to transition slowly by working part-time first. its not the work that frightens me - its the people and their office politics and drama! moving in slowly will help me work out how i'm going to deflect that negative energy. keep updated on your transition back into the field!
