Dunno if anyone remembers that last month DH and I were all excited about going bowling for the first time *ever* last month. I got a stomach bug the night before, so it got postponed. Finally the stars aligned last night. It was so much fun! We totally sucked, and it was very embarrassing, but it felt so good to have finally done it -- no more living vicariously through certain Simpsons episodes (although dh was disappointed not to see a Shine-O Ball-O) or the Big Lebowski. We actually saw a few people who looked just as hard core as Walter and the Dude, so that part was great. We'll probably do it again, although we think it might be more fun to be slightly drunk and have more friends around. As is true with so many things in this life. Anyway, just thought I'd share. (Oh BTW, my score was 79, DH was in the 40s.)
