drive 1.5 hours north and go to St Augustine!
there is also that little psychic town...can't remember the name of it...somewhere down in that vicinity.
oh yeah
i totally forgot about that but a girl in my class did her field research there. cassadaga, right? the girl was more scientific than myself but she totally got into the aura reading and picture analysis that the mediums do there. it could be a lot of fun. orlando itself is very boring in my opinion but i did enjoy walking around a pond that had swan boats and some neat shops near by. i agree that st. augustine would be the better choice.

yup that's it, Cassadega. I
yup that's it, Cassadega. I had a numerology reading there. It is fun for kicks, kind of creepy litle town.
Agreed about Orlando, unless you are going to the theme parks...it is not that fun.
Go to St Auggie, lots of stuff to see/do plus it's just pretty if you want to do absolutely nothing.
I'll be there over St Patty's weekend and cannot wait!
oh we're going to see the big rat too
but i was just hoping to find something else to do at least one of the days. sigh. we'll hit st augustine on the way home for sure!~
i live in north florida but
i live in north florida but would highly recommend checking out the springs
this one http://www.floridastateparks.org/deleonsprings/default.cfm is also close to orlando and the ocala national forest has long been a favorite destination though a little further away. or check out eatonville just north of orlando (zora neale hurston's hometown). and i think it will be hot enough in may for swimming in the springs. actually, swimming in them during the winter isn't so bad since they are at a constant temp. year round. have fun.

well....
i live in tampa so i have been there many times. its kind of hard to say. they do have a kick-ass water park thingie if you're into that. and i don't know of anything naure-oriented. oh wait! there is a place kinda close by that we love to camp.
