i have to tell someone

especially since this is a major decision. i just got off the phone from scheduling DH's vasectomy. we're still young, but after many long conversations we decided 2 is enough and we want to be able to live our lives while we're still young. not to mention the thought of having to deal with birth control after we have the baby is just enough to make us cringe.

i feel so much better.

on another decision making note, i have decided that when i leave work to have the baby, i will not be going back. we're just going to tighten the money belt a little bit and i am researching stay at home data entry jobs that i can do without leaving the girls. wish me luck.

congrats on the SAHM decision... it is wonderful. i just hope with our second we will have enough $$ i can cut back on the work i do from home. i would love to be an exclusive SAHM. i guess i'm a WSAHM working stay at home mom. gotta love computers... they make so much possible.

hal and i feel the same... two is enough for us! heck, he would be happy with just one but i really don't want to raise an only child. not for any negative reasons, just that i am an only child and know how i always longed (still do) for a sibling.

we also had to tighten the $ belt so i could stay home. it's hard but i feel like it is so worth it.

Sounds like you've made some decisions that you are happy with and that will work for your family. Good for you - it feels good to decide on something and move in it's direction doesn't it? Smiling

My husband and I decided that day care was a racket and we needed to raise our own children. Three years and one more baby later, it's the best decision I've made in my life. Some days are tough, especially since I'm a right brain, Type A personality, but today my boy rolled over for the first time and I was here to see it. A new pair of Prada shoes never made me feel that good!
