More woe is me(thanks for all your patience)

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Sun, 08/31/2008 - 7:10pm.

What if we kept the baby? Would that be wrong? would it be selfish?
Recently I told my daughter(when she was complaining about something being hard)that usally the hard stuff is the really worthwhile stuff. So I guess thats why this is so hard.
Mamas, you all so honest and thats what I need right now, honesty. Dh and I are way too emotionally involved.
Here's our situation.--read more >>

Life is not fair

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Sat, 08/30/2008 - 6:04pm.

Okay, so thats a dumb statement, but thats how I feel right now. I'm mad and sad and frustrated. We have decided not to keeep the baby, but I'm not totally good with it. I do realize that if I really wanted to keep it and said so, DH would and he'd be great about. I feel our choice is being made completely on monetary level of the fact that we live rather tightly right now so DH can go to school, something that is SO important to me(and of course him) that I don't want to risk or change it. And #4 would mean a new car(grrr) and in the next three years expanding the house(3 bedrooms).--read more >>

What the Hell? Oh yeah, you guessed it... #4

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Wed, 08/27/2008 - 10:30pm.

I'm pretty sure I'm pregnate, (yeah, see its so upsetting I can't even spell it). I feel like I am just getting on my feet, that DH and I are really good and solid(okay, we've alwasy been solid...but were good) and happy. And we have our little house and life is a nice groove and DH is finally going to school, and were are in this lovey groove with each other and so lots of sex(yes we used a condom) but fertility bunny I am...yeah, I'm pretty sure its true. What the fuck. I can't imagine keeping it, thats the truth.--read more >>

pretty much, I'm at a breaking point

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Sun, 08/03/2008 - 10:06pm.

Really, I just want to cry, this is a crappy week and I'm trying to keep my chin up but its not working. Two months ago my sister and I had a falling out(I blogged about her not emailing/returning my phone calls), she thinks I didn't care enough to call her on her birthday and has stopped speaking to me. I tried to call her, my cell doesn't make overseas phone calls and she was in Paris. Now its actaully not like my sister to do this, she IS NOT a drama queen, she does however suffer from some mental illness history and has done this sort of thing every few years.--read more >>

Something I wrote, I wanted to share with you mamas

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Thu, 07/31/2008 - 1:22am.

I have been trying to think of a way to write about Grandma and those days, but it seems like a blur , it is so different than any other experience I have ever had. When Grandpa died, it seemed somehow okay, it seemed like time, there was sorrow, but still this sense of laughter in the family, you know that sense, that no matter what we happy, we are lively, we are strong. There wasn’t that. There was nothing, I kept thinking “oh, she’ll love the way Asher talks, the way Emmet is playing with that truck, the way Fra is smiling.” I couldn’t, I can’t believe she wasn’t there.--read more >>

What am I suppose to do with this?

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Sun, 07/20/2008 - 9:48pm.

I have a great life, a great husband(married 10 years, together 18!!), three fab kids, a job I love. And I am really happy, I am grateful, but I am also, well bored and restless. I want to go out with my girlfriends, dress sexy and drink a little too much, and flirt with strangers. I have a deep and dark desire to have a torrid affair one of a number of men I know. (one or two inparticular, but lets not go there)--read more >>

Am I too critical of my daughter?

Submitted by urbanearthmama on Fri, 07/11/2008 - 7:47pm.

I am afraid I am too critical of my daughter. I'm a pretty critical person, I'll admit, I try not be, but I am. She is 7 1/2 going on 13, and I love her her to death--but she can drive me crazy. Where is the line between helping her act appropriatly and being too critical?--read more >>
